SME or Start-up wanting to sell to government or the public sector, but not sure how?

Government is the biggest industry on earth and the public sector is 40% of the economy, can you afford to ignore them?

Is this Programme for me?

The Academy is open to existing and new small businesses who wish to sell to government or the public sector, often for the first time.  Participants must commit to attending the online workshops, as well as ongoing meetings with mentors and experts. The 2 day kick off bootcamp will be on 2/3 March 2023 - it is compulsory to attend this in person.

To qualify, organisations must:

  • have a registered or trading address in South Yorkshire (if you do not have this already, we can help organise this at no cost)

  • meet the SME criteria as follows:

  1. Be an independent small to medium sized tech business employing fewer than 250 people

  2. Have an annual turnover of below €50m (approx. £41.7 million) and a balance sheet of less than €45m (approx. £37.5m)

  3. Not be a subsidiary and/or under the control of a larger SME entity (25% or more)
